The Bespoke Process
Design Consultation
In this step of the process we work together to pick out colors, trimmings, style, fit, and dive into what makes you, you. Detailed notes are taken as well as a precise head measurement down to the exact shape of your head.
This appointment usually take about 45 minutes and is best done in person to get that perfect fit. If this isn’t an option, inquire about a virtual consultation as there are other ways to accomplish this goal!
Hat Construction
This step takes the hatter anywhere from 10-14 hours to build your hat. This includes blocking, cutting the brim, embossing your sweatband and sewing it into the hat, shaping the crown and brim, sewing on your ribbons, feathers, pins, etc, sewing your silk liner and installing.
Expect this to take anywhere from 4-8 weeks for your completed hat based on availability of materials as well as the length of the bespoke order list.
Final Fitting
This is the final step of the process and your patience is rewarded by taking your newest accessory home. But first a final fitting is performed to ensure the perfect fit. All final adjustments to fit and shape are done on the spot and you receive your care instructions as well as tips for storage.
